Need this answered for your project? Send the site location and quantity — you get a written answer and a quotation.
Short answer

Buyers should specify steel section sizes (e.g., 100x100x3 mm or 150x150x4 mm), full-penetration welding at corner joints, ISO corner castings, design wind and snow loads (e.g., 100 km/h, 1.5 kN/m²), a flat foundation interface, and diagonal bracing. Demand mill certificates, weld inspection reports, and load calculations.

Standards & references

  • ISO 668 — Series 1 freight containers: classification, dimensions and ratings (the dimensional basis for 20FT / 40FT modules).
  • ISO 1496-1 — Series 1 freight containers: specification and testing, used as the reference for corner castings and lifting points.
  • ISO 9001 — quality management system; inspection records and test reports are issued per order.
  • IEC 60364 — low-voltage electrical installations, applied to the cabin wiring layout supplied with each unit.
  • EN 1090-1 — execution of steel structures; can be specified when the destination market requires a declared execution class.
