What foundation is required for a container house?
A container house requires a foundation with adequate ground bearing capacity, typically at least 100 kPa for standard units, and a levelling tolerance of ±5 mm across the footprint. The foundation can be strip footings, screw piles, or concrete blocks, but must provide continuous support, resist settlement, and include drainage to prevent water accumulation.
